What does your scale say about you?

by Jen, a priorfatgirl on January 4, 2011

Home of the scale.

Cozied up and in its place.

HALT: an intruder!

Iggy swoops in to investigate!

And with a blink of an eye, the old scale is gone!

A little more color where there once was none.

A bright color, tis true but this scale is different.

My weight is a secret, my weight gain is not.

This scale is no ordinary scale, it is Dr. Oz approved! Oh yes, that dark haired handsome doctor women drool over? He has thrown his name in as a supporter of the Quantum scale!

First things first – step on the Quantum scale and allow it to register your starting weight. And that is as normal as it is – because the Quantum scale doesn’t show you what your weight is. Nope, it remembers it but doesn’t show it. The next time you weigh yourself, instead of showing your new weight, the scale shows how much you’ve gained/lost!

NOW YOU CAN TAKE ALL THE POWER AWAY FROM THAT
DARN NUMBER AND MAKE IT JUST ABOUT THE PROGRESS!

{Editors note: I took the last image showing my 2.6+lb gain at the end of the day while wearing clothes so don’t get any fancy idea’s about me gaining weight!}

Are you in love with this scale or what? Want to win a scale of your own?

Contest Info

One lucky winner will receive their very own Quantum scale for the low low price of a comment! That’s right, all you have to do is leave a comment sharing why the Quantum Scale would be an important resource for you AND what color Quantum you want! (To find color options, click on the Quantum scale website and enter your goal weight loss on the right side).

Fine Print: US Residents only. One comment/entry per person. Contest ends on Thursday, January 6th at 7pm and the winner will be announced on Friday, January 7th.

I have over 100 lbs to lose and this would be AWESOME to have to continue my journey with! I hate looking at numbers!

I would love this scale and it could help my whole family. I have a 10 year old that is heavy and is trying to just maintain for the next year and a half(a very hard thing to do for a 10 year old boy that loves to graze). He gets stuck on the number so much and will just let his day be ruined over thinking of where he is right now. I would love to give him this so that he won’t have to look at the number just focus on staying close to 0. Thanks so much for letting us try.

I have avoided getting on the scale for years because I hate the number I see. And, even after I know I’ve gained weight I avoid the scale so I don’t have to know how bad it’s been. This would be a huge asset to my weight loss fight.

I would love a blue one!

The numbers have been poisoning my thoughts way too much. I would love to win this scale and only see my progress. Thanks for the opportunity!

I’d love the green one :)

First, that is the niftiest scale I have ever seen, mostly because it’s green- my favorite color :)

Why would I love this scale? My current one, the eatsmart scale, I purchased after reading about it on lindsay’s blog a few months ago. For the next 12 weeks, it will be staying in my office. With some encouragement, my entire office agreed to participate in a biggest loser challenge. I provided the scale since it was my idea. I’d still like to have one at home, and since I’m trying to focus on overall health in 2011, I’d love a scale that would keep me from getting too obsessed with a number.

WOW! I love the idea of not having to look at the big number and just see the progress!!! I would love a blue one. Would match my bathroom colors! I have 35lbs to lose to get under 200lbs. Thats my first goal and once I get there, I will re-evaulate my progress.

Super color!! And since I’m bad at math, this would be wonderful. ;) Okay, I’m not *that* bad at math! But it would STILL be wonderful.

I’d love to be able to look at a scale with such low numbers for a change! Actually, I don’t even have a scale. It would be nice to not only have one, but the appropriate one. I have over 70 pounds to lose.

I would love a black scale!! I think this would be an amazing resource to get my focus off the number and quit being a slave to the scale! I’m also a personal trainer and would love to share it with my clients!

I had a baby last year and need to lose more weight. This scale would be much more motivating than a regular scale. I would enjoy the green color. Thanks!!

I would love a pink one! This scale will be great for me as it reminds me that the weight doesn’t mean anything. It’s how much you lose that count.

I would love the quantum scale because I am a college student struggling with my weight and knowing the number hurts me every day. If I focused on PROGRESS, things would be a LOT better!

I would love to win one of these. Our scale just broke and I have 40 pounds left to go this year!! What a way to get to the real issue – what youve lost or gained…not the actual number. I would love to get the black or the pink one!

I’m on a journey to lose weight. I’m running my first half marathon in February, and I actually need a scale! I love the concept of this scale, because I’ll admit that weighing in has become a bit of heartache for me. it discourges me, and I don’t like that! Would love to be able to track my progress!
