Perserverance = Victory

Thanks for all the encouraging words yesterday regarding the 10+3 action plan. I knew that the action is based on getting my activity and that yesterday evenng we had the concert so I cancelled lunch with a friend to get my butt in the gym. YAY ME!

When I got back from lunch, I ended up having to blog because temptation was seriously taunting me. (Read the temptaption here). I’m proud to say blogging worked! I had 3 pieces of Dove Dark Chocolate that I brought from home and tried to distract myself.

I was still a hungry so in an attempt to
avoid clashing with the chocolate dish,
I scrounged up some oatmeal I found
in our kitchen pantry at work and
added some peaches I brought that morning.


and some brown sugar + chia seeds.
YUM!!! It was good. I so love
me some old-fashioned oatmeal!

Do you eat sometimes random foods (like
breakfast foods in the afternoon) to get
you through a craving? I’m thinking I may
 do this more often with oatmeal.
I made it home and got dressed
for my date with Carlos.

Today…I purposefully blocked my calender over lunch so I could hit the gym again! Tonight, I have a nail appointment with an friend from loonnnnggg time ago and then tomorrow, I’m getting on a plane to go somewhere fun!
Can’t wait to share where I’m going!
(and it’s without Carlos! *gasp*)
