Blogging instead of eating

holy crap friends…I need to blog. Right now.

You see, I have eaten fairly healthy so far today. But I’m fighting all temptations right now. I went to workout over lunch. (yay me!)  Got to the gym at 11:45 which means I didn’t get back to my desk until about 12:50. I ate lunch…a veggie mixture (edamama, peas, chickpeas, 1/2 egg, carrots & hummus) and a PB&J sandwich. It is now 1:30pm and the food seems to have not yet hit my tummy cause I’m RAVISHING! I feel like I could grill an elephant and eat it right now! (um…okay, nevermind, that doesn’t sound very good but you get what I mean.)

And to make matters worse, my cube neighbor – she just left for a 1:30pm meeting.

THE CANDY BOWL IS UNATTENDED!
I am choosing not to eat the candy.

This is my choice. I can do this.

So to distract myself, I’m going to hit post on this blog and then not going to get up from my desk until she gets back. OKAY? I’m strong enough – I can stick with my decision to not eat the candy.

Oh…and I forgot to tell you,
Carlos bought us tickets to go see Norah 
Jones tonight! I can’t wait to hold his hand 
& belt out some serious songs tonight!

Alright…back to work. I can do this. Thanks for being there for me friends, I’m gonna kick this healthiness journey into gear!
