Who moved my gym?

Howdy friends! How was your weekend? Mine was good. It’s over and Monday already, Monday’s come too fast. I wish there were twice as many Friday’s as there were Mondays but then that would screw up the true meaning of Fridays so eh, guess it just will have to stay the same.

I forgot to tell you, last week I made some peanut butter chocolate roll-ups from the 2009 PriorFatGirl E-Cookbook.

They were a little time consuming but were definitely good! Very rich! One recommendation, when you make them, use a thin layer of peanut butter.

Weekend Weekend

I had two candle party’s on Saturday. I’m a candle lady, woot woot! Thanks for all of your excitement about it – I was very scared to do this but both shows went great! On Sunday, I got some emails done, caught up on some blogs and then had a family meeting. When we got home, I did some more blogging and watched Carlos put the tree up.

I’m going to wait until to this afternoon to decorate and it’s killin’ me that I’ve waited until this long! If people wouldn’t call me crazy, I totally would put our tree up at the beginning of October.

Gym? What’s a gym?

Well, I have to be honest with you about something. If you go to my gym, you will probably notice one thing. I haven’t been there.

Last week, I don’t know what it was but the end result was 2 workouts, both of which were personal trainer appointments (thank GOD I signed up for those, it is the only thing getting my butt into the gym!)

I have a ton of thoughts about what it could be:

  • 1st holiday w/out mom = stress
  • new candle job = stress
  • new family dynamics = stress

Okay, if you noticed that last one… there is one thing we are still dealing with as a family. There is a big whole in our family that we are all learning to adjust to. It’s caused some stress but we are fighting to move forward as a family.

Despite this, I need to maintain gym activity.

I OWE IT TO MYSELF.

So, tonight I have a personal training appointment. Tuesday night, I’m going to see if a friend wants to do a gym class. Anyone in Minneapolis & member of LA Fitness wanna do a class with me? I haven’t been to a class in so long and there are a couple that look good:

  • Body works w/ weights – 5:45pm
  • Cycle – 6:45pm
  • Yoga – 7:00pm

Wednesday morning there is 5:45am cycle class that I wanna do. So if any of you want to call me and wake my arse up at 5:30am, I’m open to a friendly get.your.ass.up.now kinda call ;)
