Hi guys! Happy, HAPPY Friday! Gosh, I’m so glad the weekend is upon us. This week went by fast, sure, but I live for the weekend.
(I also want to say, sorry for lack of pictures lately, I’ll work on it – I just KEEP forgetting to bring my camera cord to work to upload pictures I’ve taken!)
Weigh In
Friday = WEIGH IN! Last week I weighed in after my “time off” (aka got lazy) at 218.2. This morning, I weighed in at…… 218.2. +/- ZERO pounds. This is the first week since August that I’ve not gained or lost anything. I’m okay with it.. especially considering I will be getting my monthly friend next week and if you’ve been following me, you know EVERY WEEK since I began this journey – I have gained weight the week before. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. I have gained before it came, so I consider this a success!
Weekend Plans
No HUGE plans this weekend. Tonight just laying low with my boyfriend and puppy.
I’m looking forward to it. Tonight will probably consist of take out (YES, take out! Friday is date night for Adam and I, so we usually go out for dinner together or order out – being that it’s FREEZING out, I’m thinking we’ll stay in), watching a little Dexter, season 3 on DVD, and cuddling up on the couch with OUR little Dexter.
Sounds perfect to me.
Tomorrow, Adam and I are going to get some Christmas shopping done and go to the gym. Yep! You hear (ok, read) that right! We’re going to the gym. Good thing too, since I haven’t been lately and it’s been even longer for Adam. Eck. Why is it so hard to just get there? That’s all it is. Once I’m there, I’m fine. It’s just the getting there that I hate so much.
Tomorrow night, my roommate, Steph is have a little get together for her birthday that was last week. We’re going to Dave & Busters for drinks and games. That should be a fun time.
Sunday is football day! We’re having people over at our house to watch the game and hang out and chat and eat. I’m definitely looking forward to it. We haven’t had the opportunity to host yet, so I’m kind of excited. Aw… look at me, all domesticated.
I also think I will make Rice Krispie bars for Adam this weekend. The ones I made and brought to work are GONE. My babe didn’t even get ONE. So, I think I wil be a nice girlfriend and make him a batch this weekend.
So, needless to say, my weekend is filled with FOOD. It’ll be a challenge, but ya know what…? Everyday is a challenge. It’s all about making one good choice after the other. Break it down. Don’t say, okay this WEEK, I have to eat well, or even TODAY I have to eat well. Say, okay, my next meal, I’m going to make a good choice. And so on and so on. It makes things A LOT easier.
Now, let’s see if I can practice what I preach!

PS – forgot to mention, I’m only working until 2:30pm today because we have our Holiday Party at work and we get to leave and walk over to Game Works for the afternoon – I’ll be faced with lots of delish appetizers, I WILL be making good decisions.
Call me crazy, but lately, every time I want to make a bad choice, I think of a wedding dress. NO, I’m not engaged or anything, but I hope to be someday… sooner rather than later, hopefully and I DO NOT want to struggle finding The Dress when that big day comes. I don’t want to be forced to wear plus size. I want to feel and look beautiful on that day.
Sheesh, I’m a nut, who even knows when this day will be! Hahahaha But, it motivates me, so I’ll stick with it.
I promise, I’m not a nut job!!! Haha
