Hi all! Sorry about being MIA yesterday. Still getting used to the new job. It’s a little harder to blog while at work since I’m actually BUSY throughout my day, it’s a wonderful concept.
Much better than sitting and doing nothing at my last place. But I do admit, I kind of miss it. Well, not the job, but the people. Love them.
So, how are all of you doing? I’m hanging in there. I’m not necessarily HAPPY that I’m maintaining right now, but I understand it and I deserve it. And I’m definitely happy that I’m not GAINING! That makes us all happy, right?
Life gets busy, very busy and maintaining can be just as hard as losing, for some of us, probably most of us. It’s not easy to maintain. It’s easy to over eat and drown your problems in goodies. It’s easy to swing by the drive thru because you’re pressed for time. It’s easy to make excuses about not going to the gym because you have much other “more important” things to do (I know this one alllll too well). There are plenty of things that are easier than simply maintaining your weight. Here’s the thing: weight loss/maintaining is not easy. If it were easy, we’ll all be at our goal weight. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
So, instead of whining and complaining that I’m “only” maintaining, I’m changing my attitude. I’m maintaining!!!!!! Woo hoo!! It IS an accomplishment to maintain. Hey, I’m not gaining, right!?
