Tummy full of bread – ugh!

Wanna know what I did yesterday? Well, I did a mid-day post yesterday – it had a very important video if you didn’t check it out yet (click here to see it)

Anyways, after I finished blogging I decided to make Portuguese rolls that we eat when we go back to New Bedford, Mass. They are delish…so truly yum! Here is a pic of one on my plate from our visit in August.

Portuguese Roll
(aka Paposecos)

I found this recipe here
and gathered all my ingredients.

Mix some, wait 5 minutes.

Mix more, let it rise!
Roll into balls about 1/3 cup in size.

Karate chop the dough roll.

Flip upside down & lay on pan.

Lightly coat with a little bit of milk.

Pop tray in oven and wait.

15 minutes in a 500 degree
oven and delish!

Carlos even said they tasted so close
to the real thing, WOOT WOOT!

Only bad thing? They aren’t
very calorie friendly.

So it probably wasn’t a good idea for
me to eat 4 of them. POOEY!

Luckily I did run my 5K yesterday morning AND went back to the gym to meet Lindsay from Lindsay: Under Construction to show her some machines. I did about 13minutes of cardio while I was waiting for her…that burned off one of the rolls, right

My plans for today? Well, I’m headed to my cuz Kirsten’s house for the morning to do a little baking. She’s making pies, I’m making chocolate chip cookies & chocolate covered pretzels. Not sure yet what I’ll get into for the afternoon.

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? I’ve got my Turkey Run at 8:30am – am totally excited for it! And then after, Carlos and I are headed to some friends house for a Thanksgiving meal (I’m bringing the rolls!).

No worries – I’ll stop by tomorrow before my race and say hi! See ya’ll later!
