Over or Under?

Sunday, I went for a run. It was about 44 degrees out and freezing. I debated just going to the gym but I knew that I need to start to run outside & get ready for my Thanksgiving run.

I know I need to get my lungs ready. So I made myself do it. First things first, I had to cover my ears. Poor ears get so so so so cold!

I kept the 180′s that I wore a couple weeks ago (read about them here.)

But last week, I received a gift from a
wonderful friend (hi wonderful friend, you are great!)
It was a LuLu
Headband!
But
I can’t figure out how to wear it!

Here’s the deal: I can’t put my
hair in a
pony tail. It’s reverse bob
and is short in back. I
have two options.

Hair over the headband…I
like this better from the front

But it makes my hair stick out in the back.

Or hair under the headband.
No hair stick-outage.

For my run on Sunday, I went with the
headband over my hair. Call me
vain but
I care about what I
look like when I run.

Whaddya think?
Over or Under?

Back to my run, I wanted to see
how my
lungs would do as the
temperature got
colder so
I mapped out a 5K.

AND, I DID IT! I ran the whole thing! YEEEHAAWW!!!

It was very hard to run the whole thing. I wanted to stop and catch my breath. My lungs hurt from the cold but I kept running. I didn’t give up, I just kept going. Because I refused to walk!

I didn’t track my time, mainly because I am just proud of the fact that I can run a 5K! I can’t believe I can do it – it still gives me goosebumps. I never considered myself a runner, still don’t – yet I am!

What can you do that you never thought you could do?
