Hello my lovelies! Happy Friday to you! Friday the 13th… anyone superstitious…? Let’s not walk under ladders, let black cats cross our paths, break mirrors or any of that other stuff… 
Well, I don’t know about you guys, but THIS little guy can cross my path ANY DAY! A-DORABLE!
THIS guy on the other hand… I’m runnin’ away, FAST! Yikes… He must have had a bad weigh in…? (I know the feeling, mean cat, I know the feeling…)
Weighing In On My Weight
I gained. I knew I would, and I did. Even knowing that I would, it’s still kind of hard to swallow – I was SO close to hitting my 10-pounds-lost. But this is a gain I anticipated, so we’ll be aiming to hit my “-10″ next week. I weighed in at 217.4 this morning, so that’s a gain of 1.4 pounds – which, looking back on my history, is right on par with my “week-before” gains (if you read my blog, you know what I’m talking about, but I’m tired of talking about my cycle!! Hahahaha!). In my “week before” expected gains, I’ve gained anywhere from 1.2 – 2.8 pounds – so this 1.4 is right in there. I guess I’ll take it (I really don’t have a choice now, do I?), it’ll be gone next week. 
The Big 2-5!
Moving on! Tomorrow – I turn the BIG 2-5!!! I’m actually kind of excited. I think I’ll go rent a car or something, the only “cool” new thing to do when you turn 25. Haha SO just kidding. Lots of people say it’s down hill from here… I think they’re wrong. Life is what you make it and you’re only as old as you feel. Bring it on 25, BRING. IT. ON. I’m going to have a GREAT year. I’ll be working on myself this year, making “me” the best “me” I can be. I don’t care what it takes, I’m going to reach my goals. I don’t ever doubt what I’m capable of. I honestly (I mean, REALLY honestly) believe I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to.

Technically, I’m part of the HR team here and really – I don’t feel like a part of the team AT ALL since they sit in the other building. Actually, I’m quite positive none of them even know my birthday is tomorrow (now, I’m 100% positive they didn’t know – two of them just walked by and said “I didn’t even know it was your birthday!” Kind of sad, since I’m on your team and we only have like 8 people in our whole department, but whatev!)
So Lynn, the director on the TV Sales team (right by me) called me into her office to ask if I could help her work on a project, so I go in there for maybe like 10 minutes and I come back to my desk all decked out by some of the ladies on that team (I’m an “honorary TV Sales team member” Haha) And now that has me wondering, did Lynn REALLY want me to help with that project.. or was it just a ploy to get me away from my desk so they could completely MAKE MY DAY? I better go check…
