Hiiiii alllll! I’ve missed you so.
I am currently “borrowing” my neighbors Internet, so I am going to keep this quick because the Internet connection is not reliable at all – so I don’t want it to cut out in the middle of my post.
So, Friday = WEIGH IN DAY!!!! It’s been a hellish week, filled with moving and unpacking and eating anything I can find at the moment. Moving is hard. It’s hard to keep healthy stuff on hand. People are constantly bringing stuff over, we’re ordering out for convenience, we didn’t have a fridge right away to keep anything healthy in… so this could have been a very bad gaining week. But………….. IT WASN’T! I lost. It was a measly 0.4 loss, but hey! I’ll take it! Today’s weight is 216.0. I’m proud of myself for keeping myself in check enough to not only NOT GAIN, but to LOSE during my move! This was a great week and a huge accomplishment for me. -0.4 over a moving week(end) – HECK YES!
I’m so looking forward to this weekend. It started off today with a WONDERFUL trip to Ikea… LOVE THAT PLACE – I can’t wait to show you guys photos of the new stuff and the newly decorated place… even more so than before.
AND… I had a GREAT friend stop by to check out my new house today. She was one of my pledge sisters in my sorority in college – she’s just finishing up this year, so I don’t get to see her as much as I would like to, so spending some time with her tonight was fabulous.
Now, TOMORROW another great friend from college is coming up to visit and check out the new place. I’m SO excited to see her… I haven’t seen her in a couple of months, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. It’s looking like it will be a fabulous weekend.
Sunday, I’m meeting up with our one and only, the beautiful Prior Fat Girl, Jen. I’m excited to have a chance to catch up with her a bit. She’s been my inspiration behind blogging and taking this healthy journey of mine seriously and one day at a time. And she’s definitely been a huge support system for me, reminding me why I want this and that I am CAPABLE of doing this. She’s my little healthiness mentor.
I’m in for a fabulous weekend – all started off by a small loss, that means a BIG accomplishment for me. Losing the week of my move. I’m in this to win it (or lose it, I suppose).

PS – I apologize, I DID reach my lowest weight to date this morning, but I completely spaced on taking a photo for you guys – I will try to remember to do so in the morning. Besides, I’m not sure you can notice a 0.4 loss.
But WOO-freaking-HOO for a loss while moving!
ALSO – as a reminder, I wanted to hit my starting weight (the FIRST time I did Weight Watchers) by my birthday – that weight was 213. That would mean I would have to lose 3 pounds by next week. It seems like a huge stretch. I’m not sure I’ll make it, but of course, I’ll still do my best!
