Weekend Recap & Winner

Happy end of weekend everyone! Just thought I’d jump online tonight and post a weekend recap since tomorrow is dedicated to the challenge check in! Tempted by Muffins
Last week it was my boss’ birthday. We had some muffin’s delivered and since my boss had meetings in her office for most of the day, she put them on my desk.

Do you know how good muffin’s smell? Well you would if you followed me on twitter, cuz boy did I twitter up a storm!

After about an hour, I ended up putting

my folder rack in front of it so I didn’t have to see it.

Thursday Night Date Night
I had every intention of making Hungry Girl’s Chicken Pot Pie but by 5:30pm, my brain had switched gears and Mexican was ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT!

(not cheese but kind of like a spicy ranchish dip)I got two soft shell chicken taco’s and just ate the inside…I’m a cheap date

A Birthday Party
On Saturday, we went to my parents house to celebrate my nephew’s 1st birthday. We had a blast! There was 2 types of salad, burgers & hot dogs and chips

I made a ham sandwhich instead of having hamburger…

A headache tagged along
Sunday morning, I woke up with a headache. I refused to let it ruin my day so I showered, took a couple of aspirin and headed to the farmers market where I got…

For breakfast, Carlos, my headache and me went out for breakfast. I ordered the blueberry pancakes & asked for sugar-free syrup. A glass of water to wash it down with (although coffee would have made it a perfect meal!)

I didn’t even make it half-way through!

I also got 2 egg whites & chorizo but only ate 1/2

After breakfast, I came home and took a nap to see if that would get rid of my headache. It worked for a couple hours but the nagging headache came back. I had a quick nail appointment, ran to the grocery store to grab a couple of things and got back in time to make dinner. Cleaned up dinner dishes and am now here blogging & squinting my eyes because of this stupid headache!
