I hope you aren’t having a tough time keeping up with me – I know I’m posting more then usual but hey, what else I am suppose to do now that school is done! 3 posts between Sunday & Monday, ha! I’mma dork! (Make sure to scroll back if you missed any, including my letter to Mr. Carrot from last night)
Sunday Breakfast
If your in Minneapolis, the breakfast huge.as.your.head pancakes is Fat Nat’s – two locations, one in New Hope and Brooklyn Park. A must! If you wanna meet, let me know. Maybe we could split a pancake this weekend!

Smile or Not?
I’m one of those people who wakes up with a smile. Yep, a smile plastered to my face, happy to wake up, happy to be alive. I rarely am in a bad mood and if I am in a bad mood, I just get really quiet and mellow.
This is what I used to look like
Not so much any more. You see, I’ve been plagued with a headache! It’s not a tumor! (to be read in Arnold accent). Carlos, my mom & dad, my sis Heidi, many of you and many of my twitter friends have mentioned I’m probably going through caffeine withdraw ls since I embarked on my 100% water 100% of the time adventure last Thursday. It comes for a couple hours, then goes away but with another couple hours it is back.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday this is what I looked like:
It starts right at the top of my neck and
It starts right at the top of my neck and works its way up to the back of my head…

So……ya’ll are agreeing that its from the lack of caffeine? I’m not so sure. Here’s why…
I drink 99.9% water. All the time. I slowed way down on my soda & coffee when I started this whole healthiness journey. Monday through Friday, I may take a coffee mug filled with yummy hazelnut coffee but I only drink 1/2 of it by the time I get to work and never bring it in with me. I figure its about 1 cup of coffee. We make coffee on the weekends once or twice a month.
I rarely drink soda, maybe a glass or two a week at the MOST. We go out for dinner about once a week and I’ll have a glass of diet coke with dinner but normally not 2 or 3. So I’m saying, there were days before this 100% water 100% of the time challenge in which I wouldn’t have had caffeine anyways, so I really can’t imagine these headaches are caused by lack of caffeine.
Or are they? Your thoughts?
Chocolate Attack
You know how I’m always talking about my need for chocolate (yes, I said NEED not want, NEED). I get it from my momma! Well I was totally caught off guard when I opened my mail one day and out popped some chocolate.
June @ The Path To Health sent me a glorious package of chocolate…but this isn’t just any chocolate, this is DIVINE!
Have you heard of this Chocolate Discoveries from Dove? Ok, this is a dream come true, are you ready for this?
It’s like an at-home-party type concept, like Party Lite Candles or Mary Kay. Invite some friends over and sit back and try a couple chocolates, hear about the company and browse the catalog all while in your own home!

So June sent me some of the dark chocolate. It comes in a “candy-bar” type shape. I left it in my drawer in a baggy and whenever I got the craving for something sweet, I’d break me off a piece and slowly bite off little by little and let it melt in my mouth. (each chunk is about 74 calories)

Amazing! Thank you June, I am totally loving it!
Disclaimer: While I am enjoying the chocolate in small quantities, I would never dare to have this stuff in my house. I am pretty sure if I did, you would find me upstairs in the bedroom closet behind the stability ball with a blanket over my head surrounded by chocolate wrappers. On that note, I would definitely attend a party so my Minneapolis friends, who’s hosting? Cuz I sure will buy a brownie mix or something just to bake and give to the neighbors!
