Quick, what size are you?

Hello everyone! Tuesday was a no headache day so whatever it was is gone! Whatever the source is, caffeine or not, I’m pretty sure after August 1st I will resume my 1 cup a day coffee because frankly, I savor that warm hazelnut coffee in the mornings on my way to work. I look forward to it.

In other news, I have some things running around in my mind that I really want to post about but haven’t yet figured out how to word it. eh, give me a minute to collect my thoughts, my day yesterday was insane! In the mean time, have you heard about this article:

As nation gains, ‘overweight’ is relative

“…in recent years, as the American population has become generally more overweight, brands from the luxury names to the mass retail chains have scaled down the size labels on their clothing.

You may actually be a size 14 and, according to whatever particular store you’re in, you come out a size 10,” said Natalie Nixon, associate professor of fashion industry management at Philadelphia University. “It’s definitely to make the consumer feel good.”

I have experienced this, as I know most if not all of you have too. In one store you can be a size 10 and in other store your a size 8.

What are your thoughts? Do you think its an illusion that just contributes to a bigger problem, the obesity problem? Or, do you think its just smart marketing?

In yummy food news, I received a new product to taste. It is Yoplait Fiber One yogurt and it sure was yummy!!! It is about half the size as a regular yogurt container but packed a mean 5 grams of fiber and only 50 calories! Surely a quick source of fiber! It is definetly sweet so for all of you greek yogurt lovers out there, be warned that its deliciously sweet!

Alright, I’ll be back tomorrow with hopefully a little more of a post. Have a great Wednesday!
