Challenge Update
Remember this 2 month challenge we are doing? Have you been keeping tabs on Annabel @ Feed Me I’m Cranky?Are you ready for an update? I sure am! I had some pretty intense workout moments this past week and was SO SO SO good with my eating. Like on target EVERY day!
Goal Weight: 140lbs
Current Weight: a secret
HA…did you see that? I’m gonna keep ya’ll in suspense and ONLY update you on my eating & workouts from now on out. You see, this challenge has HUGE importance to me.
If I can get down to 140lbs, I will have officially lost 100lbs. I cannot believe I am this close to losing 100lbs.
But more importantly, the beginning of August will make my 2 year anniversary of my new healthy lifestyle. How great will it be for me to lose 100lbs in EXACTLY 2 years?!
So, the pressure is on. Carlos has been warned – if he dares bring any junk food in the house, there will be hell to pay.

Stairmonster Invitational
Remember this little challenge Tony @ “The Anti-Jared” proposed? Comments I collected a total of 146 comments (holy crapola, that was a record for me!). Those 146 comments = 36.50 seconds added onto his already 30 minutes. In January of 2008, Tony could not tie his shoes.
On Friday, Tony took a deep breath and hopped up on the stairmonster. Getting a wild wacky idea, he decided to go where no man has gone before (or non I’ve ever heard of). He got on the stairmonster and did 99 minutes.
HOLY CRAP, 99 minutes!
Saturday, I went to the gym and did my 45 minutes from the challenge (Tony collected 49 comments). I have the pictures but I’m not going to post them.
Because Sunday, I came up with a not-so-bright idea. If Tony could do 99 minutes, why couldn’t I? (I think someone slipped me something cuz that was a ridiculous idea).
Sunday, after lunch with my family, I went home and took a 1.5 hour nap – ya know, to get my energy up.
5pm came around and I headed to the gym. I walked towards the back corner of the gym and climbed up on the scary monster machine. I tearfully pushed in 99 and hit enter. The machine, in a VERY sarcastic tone said “Enjoy workout”

I started climbing. I really had no clue what I was in for. Do not try this at home, I’m kidding. Tony, I don’t know what you were smoking when you decided to do this, but I will never again push 99 on a machine ever ever forever.
Around the 20 minute mark, my mom joined me at the gym and situated herself on the starmonster next to me. She must have been smokin‘ something too. Quietly, we both took one step after another. Every once in awhile, one of us would let out a grunt or a moan and the other would muster up 12 seconds of encouragement before we would both go back to our silence.
My mom did an amazing 60 minutes. I don’t even know where she came from. No practice, no warm up, just “oh let me do 60 minutes!”
As she was finishing, she moaned “I’d rather give birth!”

Congratulations mom, that was AWESOME!!!!! When my mom finished, she grabbed the camera and started taking pictures so ya’ll could see me in my sweatiness.

AND…it’s official! I did it!
99 minutes and then a cool down! 902.4 calories!

Seriously. i don’t know what got into me. If you ever push 99 minutes on a machine at the gym, you are FLIPPIN‘ NUTZ!!!
P.S. No priorfatgirls were harmed during the photography of this post (although she did kick some serious calories to the curb AND took a major energy beating!)
