Chug Chug Chug

Short post today. Wanna know why? I’m still trying to pick myself up off the ground from 99 minutes on the stairmonster. RIDICULOUS! I can’t believe I did that. And you wanna know the silliest part? I am not even competitive.

Sunday after the 99 minutes, I had a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE headache. Maybe it was because I didnt eat enough or drink enough water from everything I had sweat out. BUT…despite my headache, I stayed up until midnight and then woke up at 6am. So last night, I was falling asleep by 8:30pm.

Only you have the power to take control, to really kick butt in the gym. You won’t always feel like it but you still gotta get up and do it. That’s what I’m learning. I’ll let you know when I have completly learned (ha!) it! For now, here’s another sweatiness picture!

HRM

Ok, I have to tell ya’ll something. Remember awhile back I asked for your opinon on which heart rate monitor I should get? I read every single one of your comments. I loved all the feedback and was so excited about getting one.

But then I thought about what would happen if I got one? The fancy one with the calorie counter on it. You know the one that tells you how many calories you’ve burned so far?! That is the one I wanted. Anyways, the more I got to thinking, the more I really allowed myself to be honest with, well, myself.

You see, I know me. And I know even if the HRM told me I was burning 2,500 calories a day and that I should eat more, I would not eat more. Is that silly of me?

I know I’m not the only one in this boat. I know if some of you were told you should be eating more, you would roll your eyes and ignore the advice too – right?

I get my water in. Every day. Even on the weekends. So not kidding!


I used to just grab a new bottle. At least 64 ounces of water but normally closer to 80 ounces. Sometimes I drink over 100 ounces depending on my workouts. I’m super hydrated – I float to the bathroom, literally. I have a little coffee in the AM and then water it is. Rarely, I will have a soda.

About 6 months ago, I went green and got a water jug. 16 ounces. I played around with the temperature and found I drink more water if its room temperature, not cold. I chug it.

I DARE YOU!
I dare you to drink ONLY water for the rest of the month. Who’s on board? I’ll do it if someone does it with me. I’m serious – no coffee, no soda, no wine (which I was already doing), no juice, no nothing other than water.
