Challenge Update

Happy Monday everyone! I say happy to you, not to me. Let me update you on the challenge first, then I’ll catch ya’ll on the other side.

Challenge Update
Starting Weight: 150lbs
Goal Weight: 140lbs

Current Weight: 146lbs

(Bleck. Did you see that? A one pound gain. Nah Nah Nah, I know I know, weight fluctuates, blah blah. I counted and as of today, there are

26 days left
in this challenge. 26 days for me to lose 6lbs. I have not taken this challenge as seriously as I should. I have done well but I have had too many (2 or 3 days a week) which I have allowed myself to just “allow” myself to eat this or eat that or skip working out.
6lbs. This may not seem like a lot but I’m so nervous. Scared. This will take every ounce of dedication & motivation. Every minute of every day I will have to continue to live the healthy habits I have tried to teach myself over the past year and a half.

I need to be on target every day. Every day counts because ever day which I allow myself to splurge may break my track record. This is serious guys and I am not going to give up.

You are not allowed to give up either. We did this challenge for a reason. This is not just about making it to a magic number. This is about teaching ourselves habits we will need to live by for the rest of our lives. And the rest of our live begins today. If we do not learn these habits now, when will we learn them?

I am dedicating this post today to you, me and Annabel @ Feed Me I’m Hungry. We are half way through the challenge. Why would we want to give up now. Just because we have now seen the how high the mountain is, why would we give up? If we give up now, we are admitting defeat. And I refuse to admit defeat only half way through the challenge.


I will fight until the end.
