What I Ate

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!
As I wrote yesterday’s post, I laughed so hard I was crying. Seriously. Carlos thinks I have gone nuts! My friend Missy asked via comments how we met. Carlos and I met online. YEP we are a online match! Myspace actually. We had a mutual friend and we added each other as friends. 1.5 years later and here we are, the happy couple :) I asked Carlos if he would consider doing a guest blog, to talk about what its like living with me & watching this whole transformation and he said he would. Maybe in the next month.
I love blogging! I get so excited when you guys comment and let me know I’m not the only one.

Every once in awhile, someone will comment or someone will email me what I ate when I first started. This is a hard question for me to answer – I know exactly what I ate. In fact, if time was on my side, I could email you a complete record of what I ate, how much, the calories and times for the first 8 months of my healthy journey.

But that wouldn’t get you anywhere. You see, this is not about you copying what I did. You already know what your suppose to be doing. No diets. Eat healthy. Well balanced. Remember the food pyramid? Do it. Move, get your exercise. It’s not rocket science. It’s hard, but not rocket science.

YOU in the end, are responsible for your own actions. Read this next part very carefully ok?

What you are doing right now is not working. The only way to get a different result is to change.

Change means taking a risk and making yourself vulnerable to failure. And guess what? When you make yourself vulnerable to failure, you will probably stumble. What counts is that you don’t stay down. You get back up, dust your knee’s off and try again. And again. And again.

Never start tomorrow. Never start on Monday. Never start a New Years Resolution. Start with your next decision. NOW.

P.S. If you haven’t entered the contest from Monday, I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR? You don’t have to have an account, you don’t have to sign your life away or give me your email address. It’s so flippin’ easy. AND…what better prize then a cookbook full of 200 recipes under 200 calories!
